So the Spring Semester for my school starts on Monday and I was sure I was going to spend this week hanging with all of my old friends that were in town for their holiday, you know, partying and have a grand, merry old time. Now to be sure, I went to every single one of those parties this week and the last. And instead of playing pong, poker, and pool with the buds, I ended up knitting on the couch. Wow. Now I just feel old. :) I did finish a cute little stuffed animal that I'll post up here once he's all assembled. I also knitted a striking little lifeguard headband for one on the buds at the party. I will say that I had a good time, although I am sure that I didn't add to the atmosphere at all. One of my guy friends made a comment that I should put on Neil Diamond and walk out in a moo moo (how on EARTH do you spell that?!) to make the night truly complete. Now, I don't think that comment was fair. I, for one, happen to LOVE Neil Diamond and, if I were of a different generation, would probably give the moo moo a fair go-around. After all, you can't discount the ideal of comfort. :)
